Trh poľnohospodárskej pôdy sa začal v ČR výrazne rozvíjať po roku 2002. Ročný predaj a nákup pozemkov predstavoval po roku 2002 a zvlášť po vstupe ČR do EÚ 2,9 percenta z celkových zdrojov pôdy.
