Práca naznačuje, že aj keď farmári majú veľký potenciál vo vzťahu k inováciám budúcej SPP, ceny vody na zavlažovanie a podmienky prístupu k poľnohospodárskym úverom môžu túto inovačnú kapacitu v budúcnosti výrazne obmedziť, osobitne pokiaľ ide o drobných poľnohospodárov.
