V tejto štúdii sa skúma vzťah medzi prienikom informačných a komunikačných technológií (IKT) a bankovými krízami pomocou panelového logitového modelu výskytu bankových kríz. Skúmané obdobie je medzi rokmi 1990 a 2011 a vzorka štúdie pozostáva zo 182 krajín.
