Dokazuje sa, že napriek ideologickým predpokladom o rovnakých možnostiach výkonu zamestnania v Izraeli pre mužov a ženy, kibucy vykazujú väčšie rozdielnosti v tomto smere, ako v Izraeli ako celku. Hypotézy na vysvetlenie rozdielností medzi predpokladmi ideológie kibucu a praxou.
