Pokus o objasnenie historických koreňov a teoretických podnetov celosvetovej hospodárskej vzájomnej závislosti. Pritom sa objasňuje súvislosť a vzájomné ovplyvňovanie s inými teóriami. Zdôrazňujú sa predovšetkým pozitívne závery z oblasti zahraničnej politiky v 70. rokoch.
